Keeping your hands, head (scalp) and body clean stops the spread of germs and illnesses and is vital for your own wellbeing and for those around you. It prevents skin issues, unpleasant odours, infections and diseases.

Staying clean also has an impact on your mindset, how you look and feel influences your self-esteem, confidence and motivation. After all, nobody feels good or energised if they haven't showered or washed their hair, right?

You may have to stay at home right now given the challenging circumstances we are faced with in the world, but this doesn't mean you should let your personal hygiene fall to the wayside, it should actually be made a bigger priority than ever to keep you both safe and well!

Follow our simple steps on how to maintain your personal hygiene:

It is recommended thatyou should bath or shower every day using a shower gel or soap.It will not only cleanse and keep germs at bay, but it will also refresh and reinvigorate you.

Nails should also be cut short to prevent germs getting stuck under them.

4. Change into clean clothes every day.

Getting dressed is not only great for your hygiene but it will make you feel good and more energised too.

5. Hang your laundry in the sun to dry

The sun's rays kill disease causing germs and parasites

6. Turn away from other people

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing/sneezing. If this is not done, droplets of liquid containing germs from the nose and mouth will spread in the air and other people can breathe them in, or droplets can get into food.

7. Drink water throughout the day!

It not only hydrates you from the inside and out but it helps detoxify the body flushing out harmful toxins.

These simple steps will help keep you protected and feeling good!
